"West Wing" actress NiCole Robinson said she was flabbergasted to read in the Daily News that an animal behavior expert had branded Floyd the guard dog a menace. "He's the biggest, sweetest baby," Robinson told the Daily News. Lopez and Anthony - who owned Floyd before Robinson - are being sued in Brooklyn Federal Court by stewardess Lisa Wilson , who claims Floyd attacked her on a private jet in 2006.  

The need is growing and so is the Tulsa Humane Society opening a new, larger center to treat and find new homes for countless animals. FOX23's Abbie Alford reports on how this could increase the chances of more animals getting adopting into loving homes. During the year-long construction at the center, animals at the Tulsa Humane Society 6232 E. 60 th Street locationanimals were showcased only in the center's lobby.  

On two separate, recent occasions, animal control officers tracked down an animal in Madison that may be a wolf. The animal is owned by Gregory Weber, 52, of Madison. Animal control officials told 27 News the animal ran off from Weber's truck On Charles Lane this week and was loose overnight, prompting many calls from people who sighted it.

Three new puppies are set to join the Edmonton Police Service Canine Unit this fall, and officers are looking to some local students for help in selecting the puppies' names. Each kindergarten to Grade 6 class from both Edmonton Public schools and Edmonton Catholic schools are asked to come up with names for the new dogs. Students have until 4 p.m. on Dec. 3rd to submit their entries.

HOUSTON—The Houston SPCA Cruelty Investigation Team removed 61 purebred huskies, golden retrievers and German shepherds at the request of their owner Thursday in Waller County. The owner is a breeder who sold the dogs to earn a living, but he became overwhelmed with the cost of the animals' vaccinations and medical care due to the struggling economy. He contacted the Houston SPCA and made the decision to relinquish the dogs to the organization when the two came to an agreement that this would be the best way to rehabilitate and find homes for the dogs.
